Q1.What is RollCall?
RollCall is a web app for private schools, academies and tuition centres to manage monthly fees: it issues fee vouchers for every student, records payments with receipts, carries unpaid dues forward as arrears and reminds parents on WhatsApp.
Q2.How do we get our students in?
Copy your student list from Excel or Google Sheets and paste it in, or upload a CSV file. RollCall matches the columns (name, roll number, class, section, father’s name, phone), creates the classes and links brothers and sisters by the guardian’s phone number. Rows with problems are listed so you can fix them.
Q3.How are sibling discounts and scholarships worked out?
Each student can have their own concession on tuition, and the school can set a sibling discount for the second and later child of a family. When both apply, the larger one is used; they do not stack. The discount is printed on the voucher with its reason.
Q4.What happens when a parent does not pay?
After the due date the voucher shows as overdue and the school’s fixed late fine applies. When you generate the next month, the unpaid balance, fine included, is carried into the new voucher as arrears, so the family has one voucher to pay.
Q5.Does it send WhatsApp messages automatically?
Not yet. Each message opens in your office’s own WhatsApp, already written, and you press send. The reminders list walks you through every family one by one and records who was messaged and when. Automatic sending through the WhatsApp Business API is planned.
Q6.Can parents pay online through RollCall?
No. Parents pay the way they do today, at the office or the bank, and your staff record the payment. Parents can open and print their voucher, and their receipt, from a link on their phone.
