Privacy Policy

RollCall is operated by DanixSoft (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when a school uses RollCall, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Staff accounts: email address and password, stored by our authentication provider (passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text).
• School details: the school’s name, address, phone, bank details for vouchers, fee rules and settings.
• Student and family records: student names, roll numbers, classes, concessions, and each guardian’s name, phone number and, if entered, CNIC and address.
• Fee records: vouchers, payments, receipts and a log of WhatsApp messages staff have opened.

Children’s data

Student records are about children. Schools should enter only what they need to bill fees, and are responsible for having a reason to hold it. We process it only to provide RollCall to the school. We never contact students or parents ourselves, and we never sell, rent or share their data for marketing. Messages to parents are transactional (vouchers, reminders, receipts) and are sent by the school, from its own WhatsApp.

Links parents open

A voucher or receipt link contains a long random code. Anyone with the link can see that one voucher or receipt (the school’s name, the student’s name and class, the father’s name and the amounts), so parents should share it only as they would the paper voucher.

Who can see the data

Every record belongs to one school and is protected by row-level security in the database, so other schools cannot read it. Within a school, the owner decides who is on the staff. We use infrastructure providers (hosting and the database) who process data on our behalf. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

We keep a school’s data while its account is active. Vouchers and receipts can be exported as CSV at any time. To delete a school’s data, the owner can contact us and we will delete it, except where we must keep records by law.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep staff signed in and to remember which school they are working in. We do not use advertising cookies. Theme choice is kept in the browser’s local storage.
